What to write about
- Data errors. If a pressure disagrees with a manufacturer's chart, tell us the refrigerant, the temperature, the value you expected and where it came from. Every chart is computed, so a real difference points to a model or a composition we should check.
- Rules that have changed. EPA rules, codes and standards move. If a regulatory page is out of date, send the Federal Register citation or the document you are working from.
- Calculator problems. Include the inputs you used and the result you got.
- Refrigerants to add. Tell us which refrigerant you meet in the field and what equipment it is in.
What we cannot do
We cannot diagnose a specific system by email or give advice that replaces the manufacturer's instructions. We do not accept paid placements or guest posts.
